Full House is THE worst sitcom EVER. So dopey and corny. Little Michelle with her "You got it, dude" and Joey with his "Cut. It. Out"....I could slap them both

Worst Sitcoms Ever

There were much worse sitcoms than Full House. Do you remember Woops!, the show from Fox about six people who survived a nuclear war and miraculously ended up living in a farmhouse all together? Man, that show stunk. Coming in a close second would be Small Wonder, the show with the little 10 year old android daughter.

Oh, definitely not "My Mother The Car". Sure, it was pretty lame, but it doesn't deserve the title of Worst Sitcom Ever. It got to be fashionable to call them that, but I think that's only because some haughty Hollywood guys gave the show that label and everybody jumped on the bandwagon.

Personally, I think Worst Sitcom Ever should be more than merely lame, it should be downright offensive - something that has you yelling at the screen. Based on that, I think you can make a case for "Hogan's Heroes". I don't know, the whole premise of funny Nazis is kind of disturbing, if you think about it. (And, for anyone thinking, "Well, what about Mel Brooks movies?" He was Jewish. Making fun of Nazis was his right.)

I cant really think of the worst sitcom ever. I dont agree Full House was. My favorite is Roseanne and The Cosby Show.

I kinda agree because I felt that all that sweetness of the show, with its good but grossly contrived morality lessons that just about everyone else totally loved was way too much of a put on for me. Also aside form the morality lessons I thought the show was pretty boring to the core. I'd like to think that how much honesty my teachers give out (if in fact I actually do wanna learn something from such a one side-ed medium like the T.V) in their lessons reflects how much truth I am being taught about life. So you could possibly imagine why I may have thought the show Full House sucked. Now I hardly even consider the show in my present memories that I had over looked in the past.

I think the worst I can remember (and this is going back to 1965) is MY MOTHER THE CAR
'My Mother The Car' followed the antics of lawyer Dave Crabtree (Jerry Van Dyke from 'Coach'), a typically hapless sitcom family man who discovers that his mother has returned from the grave as a 1928 Porter convertible automobile. It just so happens that he was looking around the used car lot for a family station wagon - on Mother's Day, no less - when he made this startling discovery.

He (naturally) buys the car against the wishes of his family, who (naturally) think he's gone crazy.

Just like another popular sitcom of the day ('Mr. Ed'), the car won't talk to anyone but Dave."
(In fact, I think it was a ripoff of Mr. Ed)

Pretty sad, huh?

Full House is definately high on the list. Also on that list are Different Stokes, Family Matters (I'd slap anyone I met that actually acted like Urkel) Homeboys From Outer Space and anything that's put out by the Disney channel. You can also include just about everything on ABC from about 1977 to the mid 80's.
