No. Instead you should teach him to be an extreme left-wing, liberal, whacko who burns the American flag, murders innocent babies but saves trees and whales instead, removes God from every vestige of society, piss on American soldiers coming home from war, threatens the President with unmerited threats of impeachment, embrace foreign dictators, and have sympathy towards those who have killed thousands of innocent American men, women and children.
I'm sorry, but I think I would rather choose to watch NASCAR from the cozy confines of my safe and secure, terrorist-free, trailer home which I worked hard for without the need of Democratic-instituted government welfare and handouts. By the way, my Elvis picture is hanging in my bedroom next to Dale Earnhardt right above my loaded gun rack. Want to come and see it?!

If you want your 7 yr old to grow up happy, off prozac, and have the ability to make a living than then yes teach him to be a repub. If not, the world needs ditch diggers too. I don't think you should teach your son to be either a Republican or a Democrat. You may wish to explain politics and ask him about what he thinks is right, but I don't believe you should intentionally indoctrinate him one way or the other.
