being that it has been two weeks since your injury and you're still feeling side effects, it's best to get it checked out.

slight concussions can cause severe, immobilizing headaches.
i would call your dr and be seen within 24-48 hours.

do not take any over the counter pain medications-these thin your blood and in the event that you have a bleed (could be very slight), the medicine could make it worse.

you could also have a hairline fracture in your skull where you hit your head. these fractures are small lines in the bone and don't actually break them enough to require resetting. this could also be causing your headaches.

report to the er or call 911 if :

-your headaches get worse and don't go away
-you have changes in mental status (you become confused, disoriented)
-you have changes in vision (blurry, or seeing "spots"
-you have nausea or vomiting

these are signs of a serious head injury and require immediate medical attention

It's been known that bangs to the head can bring on a rash of headaches.
If regular painkillers don't bring them under control within a few days, then go see the doc.
If the headaches you're having move around and get worse in some places more than others, then they sound like 'cluster' headaches.

If it is still a problem after two weeks, you should see a doctor. I would have given it about three days, not two weeks.

He might tell you its kind of late for anything to be done and reversed in terms of damage. the headaches are a concern, however. They really just sound like migraines to tell you the truth.

Never know, you could have a concussion or a blood clot if you hit it hard enough. Go to the doctor.

i would go to the doctor, the worst he could say is it'll go away and just take some Advil, but if it is something worse then its better to find out soon then later
