when you fish, do you throw it back?

There were only two times I went fishing. The first time, a fish swam up on to the shore, flopped over onto it's side, and died. No taker there. The second time, the fish was on the line, but didn't fight or struggle at all. Hmm...a suicide. I threw that one back. Haven't fished since.

I fished a lot as a kid and always threw it back. Recently I've decided that I will only fish if I am prepared to eat it. It is difficult for me, as I do love to fish, but for ethical reasons I've decided that fishing for sport is no longer an activity I will partake in. The last fish I caught I served for breakfast.

I haven't been fishing in years, but when I used to go fish, I would eat all the fish I caught (mostly flounder - a saltwater fish that lives on the bottoms of inland waterways, it's really good eating, but a little on the bony side).

Not always. I like fresh fish so I go fishing for dinner mostly. Sometimes I fish and toss em all back.

If it is small and against the law to keep it. I usually don't throw it back, just a small toss. If I am really nice, I might slowly slide it into the water. Was that your question?

I don't fish. I don't want to hook a fish in it's mouth, pull it out of the water by it. Then while it's gasping for air tear it out and then throw it back. No thanks. Not my place or idea of fun.

i only ever went once..and felt so bad when i puuled the fish out of the water,,and it was gasping...i nearly cried..i put it back and went home...i can still see the picture of it in my brain...that was over 20 years ago..i never ate fish either since then...but keep a beuatifull aquarium
