I recently cut off my Cingular phone service, which made my Motorola L7 phone obsolete. Then I bought a LG enV. Here is where the problem started. I took out my Micro SD card (All it had was iTunes and the songs on there) from the L7 and placed it in the enV. I played around on the phone and then tried putting the SD card back into the L7, because I am selling it to a friend.

However, when I put it in the "Please Wait..." box showed up. But then it just kinda froze. Nothing happened. I can't figure out the problem. My enV can only tell me how much storage is left. Is there anyway I can get it back to working status? I don't want to leave my friend having to get another SD card and crap. Any advice will be much appriecated.

Ok, how do I format the card? (Sorry I'm not that technical). But when I try to format it on my enV it needs a code and I have no idea what it is.

It probably had conflicting issues between being formated for the L7 and then when you inserted it into the EnV it tried to format it. I would insert it into my computer and format it from there.

reformat your card.. you should be able to do this in either phone (i would recommend in the L7 if you are selling it with the phone) or on your computer. It probably just had some issues because you put it in the other phone with a different format. It should be a simple fix.

Like one guy said, you just need to reformat it. Also, go on the internet for cheaper sd cards. They have a 2GB mini sd card for around $107 at Compusa and then on the internet at crucial.com, they have a 4GB for $99.95. Tell your friend also that not all phones can use the higher 4 GB card.

If your friend is a new customer and gets the insurance and his phone breaks, then if it is too old they will upgrade. That is what happened to me.

in trouble-free words telephones which have verizon sims are all BlackBerry fashions. spouse had this concern with one in all her voyagers (she had 8 and is now on the envtouch) The contacts on the phone are not any further sticking to the cardboard. it type of feels as notwithstanding its the phone itself. attempt interpreting the cardboard in a pc using a micro sd to sd adapter. if it may see the cardboard, then its the phone.
