Oscars goes well with Large Fish and with their own kind. Red Oscars, Black Oscars, Tiger Oscars, and Pink Oscars will grow fast to very large sizes. Oscars are compatible with Bigger Pacus, White Tip Sharks and Medium and Large Plecostomus. These fish will grow fast and soon need a 50-gallon aquarium with warm water. Eventually these fish will need an even bigger aquarium.

i have two tiger oscars. I thought they wouldnt go well with other fish but they actually get along with all the other fish i put in the tank including green spotted puffer, spiny eel, bala shark, san raphael catfish, and a ghost knife. Just make sure all the fish you buy are about the same size as your oscars.

Oscars can live with other ciclids, blood parrots, convicts, jack dempsys, (just the south american breeds, the Africans are too evil). Just make sure they are bigger then the oscars mouths. Oscars will eat anything that fits inside their mouths!

There aren't many. Pacus might be OK. Usually a good sized pleco will be left alone.
Oscars are agressive and territorial. They will eat any smaller fish that they can and may fight others. You are probably going to have to just have a pleco or two in there.

oscars can be very territorial--rearrange the tank then you can put in other cichlids (south american or africans) of course it depends on the other cichlids aggression. rearranging helps
acclimate the fish better

Hi. I found that the younger the fish the better, but you can try a Jack Dempsey, Pacu. That's all I can come up with. Have a great year.
