Have been to both and I would choose Charlotte. The climate is basically the same in both. Charlotte schools get a better grade. Charlotte is ranked as a cleaner city than Atlanta in terms of pollution. The average household income is higher in Charlotte. The traffic is definitely less stressful in Charlotte. Atlanta wins in terms of nightlife and concerts though.

Charlotte. You get all the cool things that comes with big city with out all the pain of Atlanta.

Charlotte, just moved from there, was there for 22 yrs.
Atlanta is a traffic nightmare, Charlotte is a gorgeous and tons of work.

if i had to choose, i would like to live in atlanta. people told me there is a beautiful place!!!!
