this is a copy and continuation of a previos question from nunnayo b last week. "From the computer being COMPLETELY off, when I hit the power button the power light (on the button, on the tower) never turns green. It stays orange (which is the color of Standby Mode - for a Gateway). The keyboard/mouse/monitor don't register because the computer isn't really "on". Does anyone have a fix for this? Does anyone have an idea what this could be? I have made NO memory/device/driver changes in the last year. I would love to know how to turn the computer on - is there a "manual" powerup option?" it is not the monitor. "danlow" gave a good answer, but how do i update bios if i can't turn the computer on?

Thanks!
