What happened to the trees? Fresh water? Why do live in fantasy and ignore our primary emotions? Ignore our natural sleeping paterns? Have the influence of the industrial revolution foged our minds? What happen to living with nature's season, spring, summer and fall? Winter was break. What happened to our natural sleep? Why are we so stressed everyday? Why does society have so many mental health problems, social problems, and split families? Do we need to back track to the way and rediscover the values we lived before this cusumer non-sense & fantasy, in order for a good future?

As a Native Canadian, I live in a modern world, as every one dose now (north american continent). I have notice we as common humans are stressed. I have spoken with many people and have notice the plants, trees, and drinking waters. We are of proud heritages and I am myself of mixed heritages. What happen to the life we knew? How can I teach my children true values? and the generations they will create?

When we are young we are idealistic & have grand plans for our life & our planet. As age sets in we get more & more conditioned by the messages we receive from media , society & our peers. We become boring & try to become like everyone else....otherwise fear sets in ....'am I doing the right thing ?'
Its wonderful that you have started questioning. Even if you dont get the answers right away continue the questioning.
Good Luck !

These problems seem pronounced because you have the time to think about them. In the past you would be busy trying to find enough food to eat. As to the planet being destroyed a volcano can erupt causing the death of the planet as we know it. Enjoy what time you have and spend it with your children. Your children will gain your values by watching you, you just have to be there.

Why can we choose to renowned our previous existence? --> in the beginning, that's because of the fact so we would on no account repeat our blunders interior the destiny. -->Secondly, human interest: As Albert Einstein reported: the significant element is to not end questioning. interest has its very own reason for contemporary. One won't be able to help yet be in awe while he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of existence, of the staggering shape of fact. that's sufficient if one tries in uncomplicated terms to understand slightly of this secret daily. on no account lose a holy interest. Why all of us decide to have confidence in incarnation? --> memories from the classic situations, that have being exceeded down sort generations to generations. while we would decide to respond to a question, yet can on no account discover info or the respond, we've a tendency to create memories, purely like God created the earth.

I blame the trains. If we didn't have trains then we wouldn't need the clocks to tell us when they are late and on time. We had to create mean time and time zones for them. (haha!, no, really)

I personally believe that if you want to teach your children the values you speak of you need to live 'off the grid'. You can google that or check out Mother Earth News to get ideas how you can be more proficient in your uses and needs.

Times change, you can't expect it to be the same for ever. It might not always be a bad thing. Change. Change can be for the better also. It's called life. We can't be stuck in the past wondering with the "what happened" and the "what ifs" you just have to accept that everything is different now. :)

The life we knew disappeared so slowly and subtlely that we didn't even notice it happening.
I also fear that my future children will not be able to understand and value beauty and simplicity. Live intuitively, whether or not your actions and decisions may seem strange to others. Be the person you want them to be. Be happy.

In the years to come the same question will be asked but in a different way. "What happened to the good old days when we could play a simple XBOX game while watching Sex in the City?"

I don't know exactly what to do about it. You can recycle and stuff like that, ha ha. But I'm pretty sure the "it" you're talking about is called progress. Who would want to stand in the way of progress?

You have nothing to worry about. Life is meaningless. It doesn't matter whether your children share your values. All humans will be gone someday. Our lives are as meaningful as a flea's life.
