For one thing, they aren't called "fortune tellers." That term goes back to the old gypsy days, when they traveled through towns and did anything they could to make money from people.
One thing that he should have told you, and that most reputable psychics will always tell you up front is that nothing is EVER cast in stone!! Your future is what it is right now, and he probably told you what he saw in your future right NOW. But your future is changeable!! You can make changes based on the things you know and the things you want!
That is why people go to psychics in the first place! Why else would anyone want to know their future, unless there was a possibility of changing something terrible that could happen to them?
You have to use your own brain and come up with your own plans and possible outcomes. He gave you a canvas to work with, and you have to come up with a workable plan based on what you want to happen. If you don't like what you see, take what is there, and work around it. Nothing is EVER cast in stone, and he should have told you that!!
Be wary of information gathered on the Internet from people who call themselves psychics, by the way. Psychics work from a person's energies, and how would a person on the internet ever feel your energy if he doesn't see you in person? Not from an instant message or an email. Be careful about things like that. Being Wiccan or a Witch doesn't make a person automatically psychic--the gift of second sight is a gift from somewhere else...

If you believe in pre-determined fate and are always looking for the "awnswers" from someone else, then you are better off sticking with teh tried and true rather than take risks, because the one thing you MUST have to take risk, is self esteeem, you must believe in yourself, that you can do anything you put your mind too. Otherwise it's all too easy to just shrug off failure, say it was fate and give up trying the first time adversity hits you in the face. Lief is full of upsets and disasters, but plenty of good times too, you just need to know how to get back up and your feet and keep trying. As Thomas Jefferson said: "I'm a great believer in luck, the harder I work at it, the more of it I have." Don't waste your life being afarid, because the only "failure in life" is the person who never dares try, and we all are going to die sometime, what will you be able to say you accomplished? There is no reason why you can't take business in college, then simply change if a business degree is not what you need to do what you want to do. A lot of people start college for one thinga nd come out as something different, intrests change, careers change, and not always by choice, but a college degree, no matter what in, makes a world of difference in income and job availability, and business degrees can apply to every other field, if you want to be a high school principal or park ranger as your "dream job", it looks good on your resume.

There is a great deal of fraud in fortune telling. IF it was true, it is difficult to tell the winners from the losers.
But ask yourself this fundemental. IF such a person actually had such powers, why waste them for pennies when they could earn millions and never work? They should see the rise in the stock markets, where ood investiments in property are, and even their own health issues. But they don't.
Save your money, read on.
James Randi (born August 7, 1928), internationally billed as The Amazing Randi, is a stage magician and scientific skeptic best known as a debunker of pseudoscience. Born Randall James Hamilton Zwinge, in Toronto, Canada, Randi is the creator of the James Randi Education Foundation's million dollar challenge offering a prize US$1,000,000 to anyone who can demonstrate evidence of any paranormal, supernatural or occult power or event, under test conditions agreed to by both parties. He occasionally features on the television program Bullshit!, hosted by noted skeptics Penn & Teller.

Superstition and clap-trap I'm afraid. These people can "read" you from very little infomation and can see when they are onto a good line. Basically the rubbish they pass on is so general in terms and someone who is trusting or weak-minded makes what they are told fit into what actually happens.
Famous fortune tellers would be the worst sort of fakers. Take Derren Brown, he's brilliant (but not a fortune teller) - after seconds talking to someone he knows exactly which buttons to press to sucker them, and this is what a good fortune does - sells you snake oil..

I don't believe in fortune tellers. No one can tell the future except God and God only. Things happen in life because God wills it to happen. Fortune tellers are not accurate...it is just a waste of money and a scam. Why not just keep a strong faith in your religion and let the future unfold itself?

i think that u should try to pursue your career. I think that u would be better off knowing for sure what will happen rather than always wonder if the fortune teller was correct or not. I think that a fortune teller could very well know the future who knows but i would rather find out for myself than take someones word for it.

If you want to be a singer or a famous actress etc.. then concentrate on colleg FOR NOW, take acting classes or whatever. You can do both. Dont give up on your dreams no matter what anybody says. But dont give up on your life either, you have to eat and clothe yourself and be healthy, those are necessities.

listen sunshine, although some of what they say is correct, take it with a grain of salt. You are the one who can make things happen in your life. don't waste another minute worrying about it, if what you are doing feels right then go with it. Good luck and take care of you.
