I hope you're not a disgruntled Chargers fan - if so, you have to realize they shot themselves in the foot tonight.
Brady is a very good QB - not the greatest by any means, but good enough to have led his team to 23-24 4th quarter comebacks, including twice in Super Bowls. Greateness of QBs is measured not only in individual statistics, but in WINS.....especially in January and February.
Just remember that.
(JP, please edit your post. Peyton has been to the playoffs and is in them right now.)

Overrated? I dont think so. he has 3, count them, 3 Super Bowl rings. 2 Super Bowl MVP's, and he's the coolest man there is in the game today under pressure. 12-1 in the playoffs. Oh, and he's won both games so far this year WITHOUT Vinateri. and no. Grossman would not go to the Pro-Bowl every year with the Pats line. part of Brady's greatness is that even when that line fails. he can still get it done.

No, and I guess I don't see the point of questions like yours. The guy has three Super Bowl rings, and until this year, he didn't have the best talent around him. The guy has proven he can win without being surrounded by all-pros. Now that he has talent, Brady-bashers seem to think that without Moss and Welker, he would be just average. Did anyone stop to think that he is making THEM better? Moss's career was in the toilet until he got to New England and played with Brady. Welker was a decent player, but his career really took off this season. Think Brady may have had something to do with that? Your dump off theory makes no sense. How does a "dump-the-ball" guy, who doesn't throw down field have TWO 1000 yard receivers in Moss (1493) and Welker (1175)? The guy has a great arm. I saw him throw a bomb to Moss to beat my Giants the last game of the season. He throws one of the best deep balls in the game. The fact that Jacksonville took the deep ball away from him last night, but he still threw for over 260 yards should say what a great player he is. I'm not a Patriot fan, but I know a great player when I see one, and don't let my hatred for a team get in the way of my thinking.

Hell no Tom Brady is one of the best today. I love the Bears but i still don't think that Rex would go to the pro-bowl every year with that line. I hope some day that does happen.

being drafted number 199 the same year in the year Peyton got drafted number 1. I think you are thinking of Peyton, he was drafted number 1 and has yet to win deep in the playoffs. Brady a day 2 draftee has 3 SB rings. So if anyone is over rated I think it would be all those Number 1 Draftees that never made anything for themselves.
TY wheezer for realizing my mistake

Lol, is Tom Brady overrated?
(sarcasm mode on) Yes, Brady is overrated, just like Joe Montana, Steve Young, and John Elway were overrated.
LMAO, Brady is destined for Canton. He is one of those rare QB's that can lift a team to greatness by himself.

I don't think so. He makes his team win! That's what counts most when rating a player. The wins. And right now, he's the man for New England.
