Dsl is probably 8 seconds. Thats what it take for me. dial up would be around 10 mintues when I had netzero. I have dsl so verizon dsl is really fast and you should download http://downloads.yahoo.com/. It is interent explorer 7 and makes it go more faster than the broswer they give you. If do everything you computer wil be really fast. if i am to go at a website, it comes in 2 sec. trust me and i am not making it up for the points because unlike others. if you like and follow it should be fast and maybe you can pick me as best answer. you also can download firefox. here is website, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Probably a maximum of 10 minutes and a minimum of 2 minutes. It may take a little longer depending on the speed of your DSL but it only took 3 minutes for me and I have DSL.

It took me 5 minutes to download my AIM, but that's probably because I live around the phone company. It doesn't take that long to download, and even then it's worth it.
