Resident evil 4 question (good one)?

What do you think that wounld happen in this happened,

Ashley was taken over by the parasite and not leon,

leon was taken over by the parasite but not ashley,

If both were taken over by the parasite.

Please when you answer think what would happen after not in the game thanks

yeah it should have been the last boss had the antidote and for the parasite and after you beat him a cut seen acures where asley gets takin over by the parasite and knocks the antidote out of leons hands into the water and and you gotta kill her and then you start to change and then Ada Wong comes up from the helicopter and gives you the key to the water skie thingy with the antidote and you escape and asleys just dead

Well, let me answer each in an orderly fashion. I haven't play the game for so long so my memory might not be up to par, so bare with me here...

(1) If Ashley were taken over by the parasite than the mission would be a failure and there is no point in playing the game anymore because the whole point is to rescue her. Well, actually I think she was infected because El Salvador was controlling her through psychic means.

(2) Leon was infected by the parasite but they got it out of him somewhere towards the end with the chair device thing.

(3) I think sometime during the game they were both infected by the parasite.

All in all, in either case if one person or both are completely over taken by the parasite, well then the mission would be a failure. But for each case, if they are infected but not "taken over," than there is still a chance and that is exactly what RE4 was.
