Sims 2 question?

I've had the Sims 2 since last year, and until about 3 months ago, this has been working fine - but lately, when my Sims go to the store and buy clothes (they go to the register and pay for them), they never show up in the dresser! Am I doing something wrong, or could this just be a bug?

And I haven't downloaded the patch from EA games. Could this possibly be a bug that was fixed in the patch? Thanks! =)

Yes, update your game with the patch and see if it works then. I have heard of a bug like this.
