Yes, in fact I cannot fall asleep unless I think about a previous dream. If I think about anything else I lay awake for hours.

It doesn't happen to me, but it's a very likely occurance because your bed now serves as a generalized stimulus for the dream memory. It's kind of like how when you go back to your old school - you may remember old memories of your childhood all of a sudden. It's interesting that you can remember the previous night because many people have difficulty remembering their dreams in anything other than ambiguity. Most of the time people will remember that it was generally pleasant, or generally unpleasant - or perahps one or two figures in the dream - but not the whole flashback.

Dear Lord how I wish I was still so young as to have the clarity to think back to last night's dream. I may cry @8-( See what you've done? Cherish your stage of life Honey!! How I remember those days I took for granted. (Sorry I can't remember last night's dreams or anything else for that matter) You sound so sweet.
Good Luck!! @8-)

It's usually spirit memories and they're perfectly normal. Have you thought of keeping a journal next your bed, so to write your previous dream down? In about a week, or longer, you'll see some kind of pattern. That is usual helpful to learn a little more about yourself.

No. I actually have a quick flash forward to the dream I am about to have. No kidding. When I close my eyes again then I get all of the dream.
