my own numbers... bugger letting a computer pick..
at least then i have a hand in my fate....
the fishing was ok.
had a feed of flathead, whiting and mudcrab friday night so was very pleased....
you jealous?

Yes, it is better to pick your own numbers for two reasons: 1) You can reduce the odds of splitting the pot with other people if you win. You can do this by picking numbers that are less likely to be lucky numbers for other people. If you pick a few numbers that are greater than 31, you can reduce the likelihood that you are picking someone's birthday. 2) If you pick your own numbers every week, you will have them memorized and you won't need to constantly compare the numbers on your ticket to the ones on TV or on the lottery's website. This small piece of human error can cause you to easily overlook a winning ticket and think it is a loser. If you just hand in your quick pick ticket at the liquor store and rely on the store cashier to tell you if you won or lost, there is a chance that he will lie to you and pocket the money. This would be difficult to do if you memorized your numbers and you were staring at the winning numbers together.
