How can you say Favre is no good? Do you really think any Quarterback can run the Pack like Favre is now? If you're a true Packers fan why would you want to see one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL retire, especially one with such passion and love for the game. You may want him gone now but trust me when the backup steps in you will begin to miss the gunslinger and his 60 yard bombs down field. I personally think that Favre will be back. He still competes with the best of them, and unless he really thinks his age and health will be a problem for the 07-08 season, his heart wont let him walk away from what he knows and loves.

Um let me look into my magical crystal ball because i have one (sarcasm) Yes he is coming back he does this every year, he drags it out until no one really cares anymore and the packers draft a QB and then says that he is coming back for 5 years so yes he will be back, he will break all the records including interceptions, lead them to the playoffs possibly the superbowl and do the "John elway" exit. But seriously he is past his prime and all he does is waste the QB stage of the rebuilding process that the PACK are in. he needs to step aside and either be a QB coach in this rebuilding stage, or be a veteran leader and backup but really cant do either because there is no future at QB (arron rodgers sucks) and they dont try to get a qb cuz favre never retires....and yes im a packer fan

Well, last year there really wasn't too much doubt that he would come back. This year, however......after seeing that final game, hearing his interview, watching as he had group pictures taken with teammates....I get the feeling he might really mean it this time.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Packers fan, but he IS a good player and it will be a loss to the league if he does retire.

I'm sure he will torture Green Bay fans once again. The guy should retire and not be so selfish. Obviously, the Green Bay ownership doesn't have the guts to cut him. I'm sure many Packer fans would strenuously disagree with me but the Pack won't go anywhere with him, so he's holding up the franchise.

Yes, I think he will and hand over the reins during the season in typical Favre fashion---with class.
