Why do my mail-in DVD rentals always smell like bleach?

I use a popular online DVD rental service and everytime I receive a DVD rental through the mail, it smells like bleach? Is it something about how the paper sleeves that they come in are recycled? This can be disconcerting in this age of anthrax and mysterious other powders being sent through the mail... Anyone else notice this?

I never have noticed a smell but I don't go sniffing my DVD's either ...lol

So many people use the dvd's they probably use bacterial cleansers on them. Yeah, it sucks!
