Don't move to Miami! $300,000 will only get you a house in Liberty City or Perrine(crack house). I moved out of Miami almost 2 years ago after being born and raised there. You will find that there are more people moving out than in. The cities 3rd world politics and lack of culture(and I don't mean latin culture, there is plenty of that ) make it less than desireable to many. Sure it is a fun place to visit but don't let South Beach fool you,if you go over the bridge watch your back. I lived in Palmetto Bay and it took me almost 2hrs to get to work in the morning and my job was about 10 miles from my house. The majority of the people are selfish and pretentious and some of the worst drivers in the country. They use a horn just as much as they use the brakes. Be prepared to learn spanish! English is the second language there. Even the politicians in Miami speak in broken english!(spanglish)The long term plan for Miami as I see it is for the entire area to become a playground for the rich and famous. Property taxes and home prices are through the roof as well as homeowners insurance(for Hurricanes) making it impossible for a couple earning around 100k a year to qualify for that 300k home in the ghetto. You will have to be college educated by the way to earn 100k a year as a coule to even qualify for the mortgage as most jobs in Miami pay crap.(why would you get a degree only to live in the ghetto)There is a major lack of industry and major companies are pulling out(for example Burger King)the average salary is under 35k per year for the average worker and many people are getting smart and moving out.

The exceptional days are nonetheless relatively windy. It can pass from eighty to snowing in a couple of hours. However the senery is quality and lovely puppy pleasant,
