It does sound like your water broke. I would go to a hospital and get checked out. My second Pregnancy, what you described is exactly what my labour was like. Then it hit me all of a sudden and I had the baby.
Its so confusing the best thing to do is go see your doctor or go the the hospital. What they did with me was they told me I was in labour but just early so they said I can either stay at the hospital or go home. So I went home for a while and was in the hospital again that night when the contractions were closer!
Good Luck and Congrats!!!

Either your water broke or you peed! Since you are 39 weeks I would make a trip to the hospital if you could so they can check you. It sounds like early labor and if this is your third you could go fast! Good luck and congratz1

Sounds like it's possible, I would definately call a doc or visit the ER, better safe than sorry lest you'd prefer to deliver at home. Congrats though. There is always the possiblitities of complications causing the delay so take Precautions and get going..better to come home later tonight as a false alarm than problems. Also suprised after 2 kids that you have lasted this long and they didnt' come earlier.

i became an afternoon previously being 38 weeks prego. The evening previously I had a pair extreme braxton hicks contractions yet they went away. 4 hours later I awakened, feeling fantastic, to apply the lavatory at 1am and after I stood up my water broke! I felt fantastic (basically gushing water lol) until eventually we were given to the well-being middle and then my contractions on the instantaneous all started coming 3 minutes aside. they had to calm them with meds reason i actual became scheduled for a c section that similar day (breech toddler), then 8:19 am Evie became born! She must have standard she became coming and became getting hectic haha =] solid success hun!

Sometimes you leak urine, however go to the hospital I am guessing it is your water. You can change your panties & jump up & down & caugh again if it is your water you will get a small amount of wetness again, having your water broke too ling can cause serious infection so I say GO TO THE HOSPITAL & get checked!!!! It does not need to be a gush

if the contractions arent constant and getting stronger--they aren't the 'real' ones--real ones dont go away and then come back.
it is possible your water broke though--it can be a trickle or a big gush, I would call the doc to see what he wants you to do.
a trip to the hospital right now may just get you sent back home.

Its very possible that your water broke. You may want to go to the doctor and get checked. The worst that could happen is that they will send you home.
I know that sometimes you may get a weak bladder during pregnancy so it could be that you wet yourself a little.
As far as all the pain.... you may be deliating to 1 or 2 and stay there for weeks.
Best thing to do is go to the doctor and make sure everything is ok.

If it's your water, your contractions will get stronger and closer together. If you live near enough to the hospital wait and see if this happens. If you don't live near, call the doctor and see what they would like you to do - they may have you go in and since you are so close they might induce to get it over with. On/Off contractions suck and they aren't allowing you any rest, so it's probably better to just have the baby. I thought the water smelled sweet when mine broke. Good luck - congrats on the baby!

I had what you're having for my first. It's a slow labor, that starts and stops, and I bet you're dialating right along. I think that you should go the hospital, just to make sure everything is ok. The worst thing that could happen is they could send you home to wait a little longer. GOOD LUCK!!!
