We should back Iraq's government no matter how they choose to treat their own criminals. America has the most lenient criminal justice system in the world, but we should not expect every other country to follow our policies. Just because America is soft on crime doesn't mean everybody else should be.

Interesting statistic: The average criminal with a LIFE sentence in the United States gets let out after SIX YEARS.

Saddam had what was probably the most fair trial in the history of Iraq. Maybe even anywhere in the Arab world. Are you saying that we should oppose ALL Muslim countries? I don't think that any of them would meet what you purport to be your standards of criminal justice.

Arab culture is based around warlords. DONT FLAME ME. they have always fought each other and they always will. America should pull out and leave them be. if they keep fighting each other they are less likely to attack Western countries.
