My boys and I drove down to the river today and saw something very odd in the water. It was very cold and the ice made a most unusual shape in the water. Believe it or not, check it out.......

Here's a hint... it wasn't global warming. Just the opposite, as a matter of fact. The disc just sat there and spun slowly in circles moving gently back and forth in and out of the main current. If you've ever run a fan pointing straight up and put a beach ball over the wind, you'll begin to get an idea of the physics that were involved here.

That's pretty awesome, my guess is its the current in the water. It kept moving the ice so it formed a circle.

well its defianlty a perfectly round piece of ice what caused it no idea and how the hell did it get so perfectly round its like somebody cut it, i mean its a perfect round circle. Weird it reminds me of that whole crop thing

hmm I know water freezes at the top first, so I'm guessing maybe shade or something was at that place, which formed that unusual shape, but Its just a wild guess.
