That's like saying "I disagree with oxygen."

You can not disagree with something that is.

What is, is. Do you think people actually mean to use another word?

You can't disagree race or nationality. You can't disagree with gender. Where do people get off disagreeing with orientation?

I have to agree. After all examples of homosexual behaviour has been shown in mammals, birds, lizards, amphibians and fish. A pair of homosexual male Penguins will even steal an egg from a mated pair so they can raise their own. Homosexual behaviour is so prevalent in the world, there must be a reason for it to be there, Either God decided everything with brains function of Fish or higher in the world should be susceptible to it or it evolved as part of everything because it helps all the species that exhibit it. (And that is all species of animals on the planet, not just humans.)

There are many hypotheses about what triggers homosexuality.

For instance, it has been found that younger brothers of the same mother, are more likely to be homosexual than older brothers. Medical research suggests that the more male children a woman has, without having a female child, the more likely the male child will be homosexual. This could be because of chemicals in the mothers body, in response to the testosterone produced by the male foetuses while she is carrying them.

They have identified specific alleles of genes if found in men or women and if expressed seem to predispose humans to homosexuality. What causes these genes to be expressed is the question. It could be because of diet, e.g certain foods, chemicals in the mothers body or other something else which we haven't found..

They have identified specific areas of the brain, that if damaged through being hit, a shock of electricity, altered surgically, chemicals ingested, hardening of arteries, brain tumours or stroke, can alter a person's sexuality and the expression of such.

They have recorded many times that when too many of a species is crowded into too small a space, that population pressure that may cause other genes to express and cause homosexuality.

This has been studied for years, and is likely to be studied for many more.

As it all seems to be programmed in our genes, perhaps we should blame whoever designed our system? Like our eyes, which are not as good as they could be, and are not as good as other animals, because of blood vessels in our eyes are in front of the retina? Other animals have their blood vessels supplying their eyes behind the retinas, and so seem to have better eyesight.

A Blind Watch Maker or God. Take your pick.

There are those who will always automatically disagree with anyone who is different. Persecution has always happened, and what is clear, is that when ever there are differences, those are differences are singled out to make people feel better about themselves. We are better than them, because at least we are not like them.

However, it seems that homosexuality is inherent in our system. No amount of social or religious pressure is going to stop it. Neither would the Nazi solution of shooting and gassing them, as it is part of our genetic system... The only way to stop it is to completely wipe out all life above single celled organisms.

I may not wish to practice it, but I'd defend others rights to be themselves and how they have been 'made'.

Because they cant seem to understand people are born this way. If they can be born straight then we can be gay/lesbian.

If people would take a moment and think
If you are in a world where being straight was the sin and being gay was the norm then some time in your teens you come to the understanding that you are straight would you choose to be gay?
No, no one would choice to be one orientation over the other. You just are or are not. ... Why is being gay in this world any different?

Until people understand this and that we are never going away then they will always feel like they have to disagree with us and they will always be sad. Because they don't know that we are full of love for out fellow man.

of direction, you do not have an precise knowledge of what Christians trust. it truly is all nicely and good that you comprehend it truly is being an abomination... some thing worth of loathing and disgust, it truly is what maximum persons regard it as being. you recognize, the "yuck" element. Homosexuals have a tendency to treat this reaction as hatred or bigotry, which of direction it isn't. the hot testomony also states that that's named being a sin and that those to do those products gained't inherit heaven. you receive charges interior of different solutions for that already. The dichotomy exists in software, both lower than compliance with the old testomony regulation or that of grace... there is none with reference to the actual incontrovertible truth that both evaluate it to be am offensive act and a sin. Like many non-religious people, Christians also evaluate those events to be a sexual perversion, equivalent to pedophilia and bestiality. As such are nevertheless considered unlawful lower than secular sodomy guidelines, and so on. and may no longer qualify for particular privileges, rights and/or guidelines to let people to participate in them.

Well, sadly I dont know the true answer to that question. What might be the case though, is that they just dont understand why someone could be homosexual, being that they are straight. They might also think that homosexuality is a personal choice, when in reality, it isnt. I agree that people should use a different word in this case, but really those in "disagreement" with homosexuality should think about the concept fully before making their comments.

I disagree with homosexuality - but I don't hold it against anyone. It is wrong FOR ME, as I am a straight guy. I don't think it is wrong for everyone though. As long as I don't push my beliefs on others, and they do not push their beliefs on me, we can co-exist.

I feel the same way about hunters. I, personally, could not kill and animal (unless I was truly trying to survive), but I have no problems with hunters who do. I know it has to be done to thin out the heard, but I just could not do it myself.

Homosexuality is wrong - FOR ME, but it is acceptable TO ME. I can't prove that it is wrong for everyone because I really don't think it is - and I am not going to push my beliefs onto others unless I could prove it was wrong.

I hope I expressed what I was trying to, without upsetting anyone. I have always said that LGBT's are my equal. They are not better than I, nor am I better than them.

That's because these "type" of people believe that homosexuality is a choice and the poor ignorant fools don't know any better. Therefore, they don't realize how stupid they sound saying such things. It's like disagreeing with someone's eye color.

They are nuts. They think God hates homosexuals. In the original Hebrew Bible text, (Leviticus 17th or 18th chapter) it said that a married man should not spend sexual time with another man, because it would cause disharmony with his wife.

Then the Early Bubba Preachers in 325AD and then The Religious Leaders in 1611 when they translated everything into English, wanted to grow their empires by propagation. So, they re-worded the verse to read that God "condemned" homosexuality.

Of course, God did not condemn Homosexuality in that verse, he was condemning disharmony. Which is what parotting non-thinking Christians do when they say they "don't believe in homosexuality" - they think they are making points with God.

But actually, they are doing what God does condemn; creating disharmony.

Good point. People that are not homosexual think that it is something you can control. Maybe they had their "college" experience and decided it was not for them. I, personally, don't understand it either. I know that it is forbidden by the bible. That is good enough for me. But I will never condemn or judge those that are; I only wish I could understand why.
