Our Children are much closer to the spirit world than we are. most of the time the Woobewoos and mishes, poppas, grammies, and misters are of no danger. There are those instances where the children have some fear of them, but that is very seldom.
Popanos is most likely a watcher and will never hurt a child. It could well be that Popanos is buried under your home or very near it and has been buried so long his remains have vanished. Digging up your home is not needed. Papanos could be a care taker and most likely wont cause any problems. Care takers and Guardian spirits are normally as loving and caring as we are. Popano is an old world name for Grandfather. I doubt Grandfather would hurt anyone in the home.

I can't say whether you have a spirit or not. All I can tell you is that both of my children at about that age (and living in different houses when they each became 3) both talked about "spirit" entities. My daughter called them woo lee woos and said they lived in the basement. She was quite adamant about them and was very clear in her descriptions. My son had one person that he talked about. He said it was a woman, but he never gave her a name. He simply called her "grandma."
However, neither of the houses we have lived in were built on anything that had any historic interest, one of the houses we built and the other was only a few years old when we bought it - no deaths, murders or other eerie events had happened in either place. Other than the kids having these stories nothing out of the ordinary ever happened.
I think some kids just come out with this stuff because they are creative and have active imaginations. Kids pick-up stuff of which you may be unaware from tv, older children - even adult conversations and use it in their fantasy life. If your dream was after you heard your daughter's stories then it could be your sub-conscious was simply working on the details of what she told you.
I wouldn't panic unless the obsession with the spirit doesn't go away or becomes frightening to your daughter. Then I'd have a talk with your pediatrician.

Children can see spirits or ghosts because they have not been conditioned to shut off that area of the brain. As we age we are told ghosts aren't real, made to feel less of a person or made fun of if we say we see ghosts, etc.
As long as Papanos does no harm, I would start asking questions through my child as to why he is at the house, when he died, etc.
If it bothers you to have Papanos in the house then politely tell him he needs to understand that he is dead and doesn't belong here. Many spirits do not want to accept the fact of their death.
But, like I said, if he is benign, let it be. You could get a wealth of knowledge through him. Start asking questions...I would.
Personally I would not stifle that aspect in your child. People who develop their minds through psychic awareness can grow up to be very inquisative and open-minded.

I believe in many things so i think that it may be possible. Have you checked out your houses history?? Like the person who lived there before or even before that? Has anyone died in the house?? If you are really concerned and really believe in all that sort of stuff you can actually get people to come out to your house and check stuff out for you. Be careful not to give them too much info but other wise it is not hard for them to be a fake and rip you off. good Luck and i hope it all works out for you and your family

Ghost are just "thought forms". They are not real people or anything, but calling them an "illusion" wouldn't be accurate either. Think of it like a "print" left behind from a person. Kids, especially young kids are very sensitive to non-physical energy like ghost. It is no big deal. Your child is not in danger. =) This is very normal for kids, especially nowadays. Dont discourage it. ;) She/he will figure it out on their own. =)

Next time your child sees Papanos ask him to point to the area that he sees him and then take a picture. If Papanos is a spirit, you will see a haze in the picture. Don't worry spirits can't harm you.

Listen to your baby please! Children see things adults do not. You said you dreamed about this man being burried under your home. Investigage it. Better safe than sorry.
