I mean honestly ive met people who have never seen it! That scares me! Also for the people who have seen it do you think David Tennent (sorry if I cant spell his name properly) is doing as the Doctor?

I love David Tennant. To me, he is truly "The Doctor." Tom Baker had been my favorite, and when Chris Eccleston played the Doctor, I loved him and was so upset to hear he would be leaving. But Tennant just beats all, for me at least.

A lot of people in the U.S. don't know who Doctor Who is, they've only begun airing the new series recently, and many do not have the BBC so they aren't familiar with the original series.
Tennent is doing well, I like him, but Chris Eccelston will always have a soft spot in my heart. He was fantastic!

I grew up watching and loving the 4th Doctor Who (Tom Baker). I haven't seen this new Doctor, but I bet he's not as good as Tom.

I used to think that with Doctor Who - the one that you grew up with is your favourite. I have watched a Tom Baker, Collin Baker and Sylvester McCoy episode recently, and I have to say I think that the latest 2 (Eccelston and Tennant) are excellent and are my favourite. It brings it up to date, and is hugely funny, dramatic, and highly watchable.

My goodness, I did not know that the Dr. Who (Tom Baker) I saw growing up was not the first one!!! WOW....i will have to check this out, seriously.

last time i saw dr whi ..is when i lived in england...i remember the daleks...and the telephone kiosks....it was a great programme back in the day...i think the early episdes were great...that was when that old man played dr.who...then after that it was the dude with that long scarf...cant remeber his name...it was ok but not as good as the first series...i never saw it after that...but the daleks were the best.YOU WILL BE EXTERMINATED....EXTERMINATED....EXTERMINATED....LOL WE USED TO TALK LIKE THE DALEXS BACK IN THE DAY....
