GPS-Global Positioning System-its sole purpose is to help people navigate. that is why it was made. i guess u can always screw around with it, but that would probably get boring real quick.

You could take up Geocaching. It's sort of like a treasure hunt except you use GPS coordinates instead of clues. Sometimes there's a number of GPS coordinates, one leading to the next, until you get to the actual cache.

Generally you'll find a small box hidden near the GPS coordinates that will have a few small items in it like a roll of stickers, a key chain, or something similar. You're free to take one if you wish as a souvenir (they use an honor system) or you can place a small item of your own for the next Geocacher that finds it. Occasionally there's a notebook left by the person who originally hid the stash that you can sign if you're so inclined. It's a great way to get out and see new sites and enjoy nature.

A map, personal entertainment (if it has a voice) cuz u can make it recalculate until it gets mad and stops talkin, or u can put in in different voices like British american and spanish....
