I have simular pain. Im at 30 weeks now and my doc says that its cause the baby is growing and for some women the baby grows up under the ribcage pushing upwards on the diaphram.. Sometimes it can be hard to breath and other times it makes your lower ribcage very sore. Once the baby drops more in a few weeks the pain will go away but always a good idea to give your doc a call and ask... just to be sure.

It is most likely ligament pain (yes...again...remeber that from when you were first pregnant?) Your uterus has alot of weight in it now, and it is hanging from your ribs by those ligaments still..thos are stretching more...causing pain. It coudl also be your baby, but most likely, it is ligament pain. Totally normal and nothing to wory about.

It could also be organs moving up some more...

Good luck. and congrats!

Im in the smae boat right now, i am 28 weeks and having the same feelings. my dr said its because the baby pushes all you organs up and they are sort of compacted, your ribs expand a bit too. its normal, it just takes some getting used to.

sounds like baby is in positon or or rotating my son always sat with his butt in my ribs wasnt the best feeling but it wasnt that bad either if you hold your hand flat and run it down your ribs you might be able to get the baby to move.

the baby is in you ribs causing the pain. If it gets to bad talk to you doctor.

it could be that they are growing due to milk production. But if it really bothers you, ask your doctor, perhaps a sturdier bra can help.

good luck, soon you'll have you baby and all this will be forgotten.
