Size Chart! Snow Coat?

Question

I'm a guy and i've never bought a girl's clothing ever before and so i don't know the size conversions. Can any one of the ladies help me out on that? this is the jacket I'm guessing i am a 14/16 i have no idea what that means but it's the smallest size

that's the size chart. I'm a ~38 in mens. Will a 14/16 fit me? thanks!

you need to measure the following locations on your body:

chest - widest part around you, not including your arms.
waist - narrowest part of waist. women's waists are usually higher up than men.
hips - widest part around your hips.

They have a little diagram on the size chart with blue lines to show where to measure.

You need to buy a coat that fits the largest measurement. Your weight is not important for clothing measurements. You might actually be too small for a 14/16. That bust/chest measurement is 41 inches. Which taking into the fact you are a guy and most mens shoulders are wider than woman's, you should be OK.
