A couple of my guys and me got drunk and stoled a mailbox. Is this considered a crime or a felony?

It is definitely a crime. Depending on how much the mailbox was worth would determine if the crime is a misdemeanor or felony. Then, there is the possibility that there might be mail inside of it and then that would be an additional another charge, maybe a felony for tampering with mail.

Isn't a felony a crime? Stealing a mailbox is a federal crime.

A felony - which is a crime - anything punishable by law is a crime, a felony is just a higher sentenced crime

Felony. That's technically tampering with government propety and the sentance is heavy jailtime, and/or a mucho large fine.
