I finished B.S. Accountancy in the Philippines. I want to be an elementary school teacher here in USA. Do I have to go to college all over again? What agency do I contact to get the information I need?

First you need to contact the school district where you want to work. They might have an Alternative Certification Program where they will help you to get certified by the state. All you need is your Bachelors and transcripts. I was certified in Texas through Alternative Certification. It is a great profession. Good luck!

Depending on the accreditation of the school you went to in the Phillipines, you will have to take at least one year of education to get your Mulitple Subject teaching Credential. If you come to California, you will also have to take the MSAT.

You're going to have to go to school for early childhood development or education. You're also going to have to get a teaching certificate and masters.
How are you going to get working papers in the US or are you a US citizen?
