According to Yahoo Maps, it's 840 miles and 11.5 hours. I drove from Salt Lake City to Seattle in 2003, and did it in two easy days (6-8 hours a day). I stopped in Pendleton, Oregon after passing through the Blue Mountains (scary mountain pass!)... The Super 8 in Pendleton had an affordable room with a jacuzzi tub and then I spent about an hour or so gambling at the casino there. :)

Have fun! It's a beautiful trip!

According to Mapquest is approx. 840 miles, and 12 1/2 hrs of driving time. Add a little more time if you plan to drive in the winter due to conditions, deduct time in the summer. So maybe 1-2 days depending how many hours you want to spend driving each day.
