I would guess no. Most countries do not allow entry to people with conviction records (served jail sentences). You would likely need a pardon from your home country first. Check with an immigration lawyer.

If you get a Passport you can come. The only reason you would not be allowed in the Philippines is if you can not get a passport from your home country. I have lived here for years and getting Visa extensions, etc have never been asked about a Felony conviction. I applied to work and needed to get a police report and of course on that report I was asked about felony convictions. If you plan to work or attend school you will be asked.

I think the answer is yes because you don't need a visa to get in the philippines. Unless you are applying for a visa and you will be asked that question. As long as you have an american passport you can get in and out of the philippines, but your stay is limited to a certain number of days.

How long ago was it? What was the conviction for? Honestly, I have a dear friend that is still on parol (felony, federal) and he is able to come here all the time. That being said, he is Filipino by birth (naturalized American).

How would they know? It is not like it says on your passport......

Probably. But you should know that the Philippines and USA has an Extradition Treaty or Agreement, thus, if the US Government wants you, you'll take a special flight back to the US.

It could depend on what type of crime you commited.
If you have a child molestation charge, then you should forget about it. If its some type of robbery or theft, then it would depend on your overall background. A felony charge in the U.S. does not look good for you at all.
If you want to rehabilitate your image, You might have to volunteer your services for people who are less fortunate. I don't know what you did, it depends on the crime you commited.
good luck.
