Well, I guess they're already pretty popular, but I really like The Cat Empire - I'm surprised they don't get more recognition

I like Quietdrive a lot, but not many people seem to have heard of them. I also love The Academy Is... but they're starting to get more popularity now, which is cool. Same with Daphne Loves Derby, another favorite of mine.

the Waking Eyes - a band from Manitoba. They're great live, their albums are really good, but I hardly ever heard about them. I think they play in Germany a lot... maybe they're popular over there.

Monte Montgomery and his band. He has been voted best guitarist in Austin seven years in a row, and guitar one magazine said he was one of the 50 best guitarists EVER. I love him, but he's not that big yet.
He does a version of "Little Wing" that will give a person a heart attack!

Did I mention that Halo is the best band in the world? (after CSB) They totally rock- too bad no one else knows about them.
