~DEATH~
WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPLAIN IT!!!!!

A sick man turned to his doctor,
as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said,
"Doctor, I am afraid to die.
Tell me what lies on the other side."

Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."
"You don't know?
You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"

The doctor was holding the handle of the door;
on the other side came a sou nd of scratching and whining,
and as he opened the door,
a dog sprang into the room
and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.

Turning to the patient, the doctor said,
"Did you notice my dog?
He's never been in this room before.
He didn't know what was inside.
He knew nothing except that his master was here,
and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear.
I know little of what is on the other side of death,
but I do know one thing...
I know my Master is there and that is enough."

May today there be peace within you.
May you trust God that you are exactly
where you are meant to be.
I believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet
when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

I used to be afraid of the thought of death when I was very young.

As the years went by, it has given me knowledge and an open mind, to hear about those who have had near death experiences, only to hear them say really good things about the after life.

Having faith in God, takes that fear away as well.

No one wants to die a painful death of course. But, I hear that God removes your spirit and soul before it can get really bad.

We aren't meant to stay here forever.
I believe we are all here to learn something, that each of us needs to know. And it could take a lifetime to find out what it is.

Hopefully it is God that you find and then will you see what you need to learn and not fear death.

No death is a natural part of life and whatever happens has happened to many people before me. I am not ready to die so I don't want to. And I am scared of those I love around me dieing suddenly.

No I look forward to death.... I am scared of getting old. I do not look forward to 'waiting' around for death. Hope that makes sense. If not watch a few really really old people get about doing normal tasks we take for granted. Its just so sad.

Not at all! Death is a part of life! If you have lived your life being kind and caring, helping when you could, teaching the unteachable, and loving the unlovable, death is your reward and should not be feared! Only you and God know for sure! God bless!

In a way yes, because I have a 6 month old son to raise and I don't want him raised around certain people. Before him I was in a state of mind where I had nothing to look forward to and that is what I wanted.

Yeah I think about my mortality sometimes. Yes the big mysterious end does scare me a little. However it is good to think about. But I am sure the best way to die is old age and being surrounded by the ones who care for you.
