My parents have turned into people who they used to warn me against, and the whole family is much happier for it.

When I was 15 I turned into the drinking drug taking little ***** that my mum had tryed to stop me being.
Then I got wise and grew up a bit. I think everyone has to do a bit of what they shouldn't so that they can understand why it's wrong. Learning from mistakes and all that stuff.

Not at all. My parents warned me against association with the 'Great Unwashed', and I have managed to almost avoid them everywhere I go. Why would I want to join their ranks?

Flutterin... good lass! I used to live under a bridge and eat roadkills, until they chased me away with rakes and pitchforks. But I never wanted to grow up to be more like my parents than my parents are.
