No one knows for certain. Physics doesn't appear to outright prohibit it, although how it would be accomplished is unknown. There were some interesting articles in Scientific American a while back, written by physicists, about the fact that the science doesn't preclude time travel, and what the ramifications might be, but as yet know one knows whether it is actually possible. Seems doubtful to me.

Kind-of. Technically, imagine that the earth emits picture frames into space at every conceivable moment. Those frames fly into space at the speed of light. If you flew faster than the speed of light in the same direction of the picture frame, and then back to earth, you would come back to a time before you left, how far would depend on your calculations and how fast you traveled. However, you wouldn't be able to move forward in time. This is problematic.

Through some way of quantum physics, some guy came up with a theorem that seems to be true and which would say that things travel back in time. He is testing it in May I believe. Cool stuff.

Time travel is an excellent plot source for SciFi novels and movies.
Honest, the premise has no place in real science.
Cause and effect and the constant speed of light lock us into the present - only time can move us forward and nothing will move us backward.

Time travel is directly dependent on attaining the speed of light. If we can find a way to travel at the speed of light, we would have the ability to travel in time.

Yeah eventually it will. But only back to the time when time travelling was possible.

I like Arsenologys take on this 1.
His Idea of traveling faster than the speed of light away and then back agen.
This would alow ou to view light projected /reflected from the date you Are seeing. however you'd still be in the same Time just seeing it as it was then all matter would be intangable unless it still existed in the real time and you would not be able to interact with the matter you apparently find yourself in asit is just a projection of wat was. however where would your matter exist. surely a personal clock would still read 2007.
this is a variation on string theory. you would not be able to interact with anything as they are effectively a different universe existing allong side yours. as you would not be visible to that time as lighctwould not be able to interact with you.

No, if time travel was possible someone from the future would have been here by now.

Don't get mad k! I have read, (unofficial) documented reports and watched programs, when a person is close to death and survive their life flashes before their eyes. Not time travel but, maybe something to think about.

Yes and No.Theoretically possible. But our scientists are yet to unravel the secret of nature in this regard.
