they are always going at it they are friends one minute and the next they are at each others throught any suggestions for me to deal with this ****

Leave when they start to bicker. Try to have more friends you can spend time with.

It is obviosu your friends can't solve their problems and want to drag you into everything, you need to put your foot down and tell them that you would be glad to help but you think it is a good idea they work out their problems on their own and if they are still having problems then they can talk to you, or suggest they talk to a counselor or someone that has dealt with problems of this sort, you don't need to be caught up in what they are doing. You have enough drama going on and you need to focus on other things.

Refuse to be put in the middle. When one wants to talk about the other to you, cut her off and say "I am not interested, that is for you and her to sort out." Then say the same to the other one.
