Can you apply body filler to wood, like will it stick on their ??
i was just wondering because in my class we mix the bondo wit a clean stick, n when u put the harnder on their , it does stick ot the wood. i was thinking of building a subwoofer box, n applying bondo for i can paint it in my H.S shop

Sure it can, Polyester putty can be used on anything, but DONT USE IT FOR A SUBWOOFER BOX. The only thing that should be used on a custom subwoofer box is a fiberglass/resin.
The reasons why:
#1 Polyester filler shrinks, wood putty filler shrinks, fiberglass resin wont shrink.
#2 Poly fillers set hard and isntt flexible, wood putty sets hard and doesnt flex, fiberglass resin is flexible, so it wont chip out by the vibrations.

Hi, Don't use block filler, it will not adhere any length of time. It is designed to fill pores in cement block only. I would recommend using a heat gun or Peel Away 1 to remove existing paint.

Yes, bondo is used all the time to patch wood trim around the house. Works very well.

the answer is yes,but fiberglass and resin works better
