Ive owned my Nintendo Wii for about 2 weeks now and ive already changed the batteries 3 times.

My son received a Wii for Christmas and yes it does go through the batteries fast. I contacted Nintendo about using re-chargeable batteries and they said not to. They could damage your controller.

They do suck up a lot of batteries. that is why I got the rechargable ones after the remote sucked up the first few.

They don't depending on the batteries you use

I had mine since November and I play it alot and I only used 3 changes of batteries

Depends which type your using, I reccomend getting rechargeable batteries.
