I don't recall Walter Payton comparing himself to preceding "greats" of that position. He was a true team player that took no credit for himself. I think a more fitting name for LT would be "Arrogance". He's caught up in the media hype.

LaDainian Tomlinson is one of the most humble super-stars that I have ever seen. So was Walter Payton.
LT works hard, answers questions respectfully and NEVER gets in trouble.
Why would you want to call him "Bitterness"?
How about "Tastefulness"?

Walter Payton is the position but L.T. is not the postition, Walter Payton is a once a while player.

Yes you should did you see how he didn't want to congratulate any from the other team he just wanted to run off. Kind of like a certain Cowboy who lost last week. Where has the sportsmanship gone?
