Im working on a project that is due on tuesday. and my question it Why cant women be on the NFL? and my teacher asked my if women want to play on the NFL?

I'm sure that there are women that do want to play in the NFL. Whether or not it will ever happen is a different story.
Although their are no rules about women playing in the NFL I think that it will be a very very long time before we ever see a woman in the NFL.
Football has always been a mens sport. I am not trying to put women down here or say that they are not capable, I am just trying to explain some things from my experience of working for an NFL team.
It is very very difficult just to work for a team in the NFL atleast at a position directly working with the team ex: medical staff, coaching, equipment, media. Many organizations don't even have a single woman working in a position that close to the team, so it seems very unlikely that a woman would ever play for an NFL team. To my knowledge their is only one Woman working in the NFL as either a part of th Medical staff, equipment staff, media, or coaching.
Sorry but i don't see it happening anytime soon. Its not an issue of capability, because I assure you thir are pleanty of women that are. It's just the nature of th business.

I love the answers given... I'm not as funny so I won't try joke. The NFL is the hardest leauge to enter. NBA and MLB are tough but I gotta go with the NFL. I'm not sure a leauge owner would put up the money and media for a female player.

If women wanted to play in the NFL, there is nothing stopping them. It's too rough for me as a woman.

I know that women do enjoy playing football, I did when I was still in shape. But- honestly, do you really think they're capable of playing with those 300 lb guys?? I don't think so. Football guys are usually a lot bigger than the average guy, plus extra strong and fast. While there are women that are stronger and faster than a lot of men, I doubt they'd match up to these top line athletes.
I think it would be cool to have an all female league though.

No rules, but many teams won't want women on their team. The only Position most of them play is Kicker. Also don't forget, football is more of a boys sport so men will always outnumber women in the game. More boys than women gives men a higher probability of playing.

There are no rules saying woman can't play. There probably will be someday in the future. Look up woman at the collage level of football. There have been a few.

actually http://www.womensfootballcentral.com there are two different pro leagues for women to participate in so actually if woman that play football could get strong enough and physical enough yeah they could play in the NFL

If i could play in the NFL i surly would!!! I'm a total Tom-boy and i would love that!! Because it would be so cool imagining me taking down people like TJ ducket and other great players!!

your a gurl. inagine a 450 pound buffalo slammin ya head on. ya really want that? i live in a town big on women soccer and lacrosse players, serious hard core manly women, if you will. can't see them up against pro footballers, they could die, tough as they are. it's a guys game. yall should let it be. why would a woman want so much to be a man?
