Move the hold button back and forth.Then hold the play button and the menu button at the same time! That should work.

Look for a tiny hole on the bottom or side. Take a pin or paper clip and carefully insert it. You should feel a slight click, most MP3 players have a hidden reset button.

call apple and theyshould tell you to hook it up to your comp. so they can fix it otherwise, let it die out(which will take for ever)
