i dont get it wat does it mean

Unforgiveness constantly ties you to the person you haven't forgiven. It can wear you out to constantly drag that around. Remember, forgiving doesn't mean that the relationship is restored or that you forget all about it. Reconciliation generally requires the offending party to apologize. Even in that case, the damage to the relationship may be beyond total repair.

it lessens the tention from you to that other person and clears the air once all is forgave you ahve a clean slate ..
There fore if you feel liek your starting with a somewhat clean slate your haven't really forgave them!
