The first thing to do is contact your local women's shelter and find out what your options are as far as councelling and housing services are available to you. Abuse takes a HUGE toll on your emotional well being and sometimes it takes many years to get over....don't do this alone, seek out therapy for it. If cost is an issue then contact your local community center or churches for free or no cost therapy. Help is out there....go get it and start a new life.

Yes it does take time but with help and counseling you should be able to start to heal over time and start to get past this... You need to divorce him and let him go since he is abusive... This will help you get over it and you may want to change your identity and name so he cannot find you abd by the way move way off somewhere so it will be alot harder for him to ever find you.... Hope this helps some and I am here if you need to talk.

TIME OF COURSE, AND LET YOUR SELF CRY OF COURSE, BUT GO AHEAD AND LAUGH AS WELL. FOR AS MUCH AS YOU LOVE HIM AND SAW THE GOOD IN HIM AT TIMES, YOU CAN SAY TO YOURSELF I AM FREE NOW,, TO FINALLY NOT BE A TORTURED EMOTIONAL PRISONER OF HIS ANY LONGER. IT WILL BE HARD AT FIRST, BUT HE IS NOT THE ONLY FISH IN THE SEA, NOW A DAYS OLDER WOMEN ARE LOVING AND RESPECTING THEM SELVES. AND HAVE HAD ENOUGH. MANY OLDER WOMEN ARE ON THE ARMS OF VERY HANDSOME YOUNG LOVING AND RESPECTFUL MEN. LOVE YOURSELF AND THE LOVE YOU HAVE ALWAYS SOUGHT AFTER WILL FIND YOU..
