Are 1.2 million abortions per year too many, too few or just right?

From what you're stated here, 1.2 million is a big statistics.....too many abortions.
There should be lesser abortions. An unborn baby, in your womb, is still life. Imagine, what would your unborn son/daugther say to you when you abort her....."Mommy, why do you kill me? What wrong have I done?"
It's not the child's fault, it's us humans. The world now is full of premarital and unsafe sex. They did this to satify their lust. Getting into the bed doesn't mean love. Respect towards each other's principles does.
If they want lesser abortions, play it safe. Use condoms. For married couples, who are not ready for a child, take some birth control pills. Abortions isn't the best solution. Don't kill them, bring them life....and if you don't want them, put them for adoption.

I Believe that, that is far too many. I do not believe in abortion under any circumstances unless the mothers life is in danger or something like that. It is murder. How can you do something to so horrible to a baby that has no say. Its not the child's fault that there parents were too irresponsible to use some form of Birth controll. I think that it should be banned unless you have a reasonable excuss.

There should be WAY less abortions. Abortion is the same as murder. But because we substitute the word murder for abortion...the world thinks it's ok. We'll they're wrong. People who abort their babies have no idea what kind of person they are denying the right to live. Who knows? Maybe if they had chosen to let that child live, he or she could have grown up to be one of the greatest world leaders in history, or maybe they could have grown to be a successful doctor and cure some life threatening disease...like cancer or something. People who abort their babies are taking the easy and shameful way out. It should be rather simple...if you don't want babies...don't make them. The world should learn to stop sleeping around and stop killing innocent kids. End of story.

Less! I personally believe that life starts as soon as the sperm fertilizes the egg. As much as people wouldn't like to carry a child to term if it was unwanted, there are other options besides abortion, namely adoption.
Abortions should not be considered as a late form of birth control. Which unfortunately, is often the case.

obviously, the best answer to this question would be that we should have no abortions. there should be no reason for one. in a perfect world anyway. unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world. we live in a world where women are raped while running through the park, where condoms break, birth control fails and not everything goes as planned. while i don't support murder, i also don't support people who have 8 children and spend their entire lives living off of welfare. as a society, a species and as individuals we need to be more responsible for our own actions and do what we think is right in terms of the world and our own individual lives. sometimes that means using protection, sometimes that means abstaining from sex and sometimes that means having an abortion.

that depends on who you ask. my personal opinion is that there are way to many. If you are willing to open you legs you should have the baby if you don't want it there is adoption. To me the only reason for abortion are health risk to mother and if the baby is from rape. Not because a women isn't ready to be a mom. that's why there is adoption. Just my personal opinion.

The abortions should be aginst the law. You are killing an incint living child when you have an abortion. Don't play if you don't want to pay. If you are raped and get pregnant from it go through the pregnatcy and get couseling and if you do not want to keep the baby their are several people who are not able to have a baby give it up for adoption.

We should have less. If more girls and women were educated about sex and everything that goes with it, there would probably be less. If more of them knew what an abortion actually does, they probably wouldn't have one. If guys used condoms every single time, even when their girlfriend said she was on the pill, there would probably be less.

Tough question,
If you are not ready for a child,you should do what is right for YOU !!!!!
Some people who have a bad life, wish they had never been born,and they do,, have a point we were not asked if we wanted to be here,that is strictly the choice of a parent,, ready or not...
I know its not the popular choice but that is usually by people who have no idea what I`am talking about they live them blessed , rich lives who don't know what its like to ever want for anything.....

I believe that yes people should be more careful... But I am glad there is the option of abortion... 1.2 mil... Imagine how many unwanted kids that would give us.
