Before I used proactiv my skin wasn't bad, but I didn't like the random stuff that would pop up on my skin. After I used it, I didn't have to worry about random stuff popping up. It controlled it. But my cousin did use proactiv and it broke her skin out. You should probably order the 30 day trial kit for 20 dollars instead of the 60 day kit for 50 dollars. If it doesn't work send it back, I hope you find what you're looking for.

I think it depends on the person. My 16 year old son uses it and it works for him. I have known a couple of other people that use it and say it works for them. Main thing is consistancy. You have to use it every day and follow the directions. I do know some of my friends that have used the generic version from Wal Mart and drug stores and they say it does NOT work like the actual Proactive. Won't hurt to try it for one month and see! If you don't want to order on tv, some drug stores do carry the actual brand now.

It really works I purchased it for my 18 year old step daugher and 17 and 18 year friend's kids who has awful skin and now is visiably clearing it works I also use it when I break out and I am nowhere near a teen. Just remember it's like a diet you can't exercise and eat a whole cake afterward. While using proactiv you have to really watch what you eat also. Like with anything you have to help it help you.

I simply love proactive. It works on most peoples skin helping to clear up the problems such as outbreaks and blackheads. The best thing to do is talk to your parents and tell them that you think you need to try this product.

i've known people who use it with success. the trick is using a regimen of products no matter what it is. their products also have a.h.a.'s (alpha hydroxy acids) that continually remove dead surface cells without manually aggravating the skin. most acneic prone people have sensitive skin to a degree. it's worth a try but stick with it for at least a month unless you experience redness accompanied with itching or heat which could suggest an allergic reaction or sensitivity to ingredients.

I use it! AND it does work better than anything else I have used. BUT you do have to use it twice a day religiously. I use it though and it works for me and my sister
