Odor is not produced by your body believe it or not. It is produced by the normal bacteria that exists in and on our bodies, called "flora". The spots from which odor seems to eminate (underarms and groin) are better environments for bacteria to grow than say forearms. These spots are warmer, and are less exposed to air.
Basic hygiene limits the bacteria that can grow on our bodies. From an evolutionary standpoint, the reason that these smells are offensive to us is because too much bacterial growth can be harmful. So it is a natural warning sign that something needs to be done to control this bacterial growth (same thing goes with bad breath and taste in our mouths).
So if proper hygiene is monitored, odor should not be a problem. Of course everyone is different, and sweating provides an even better environment for bacteria to survive. So if normal hygiene isn't sufficient, additional methods should be taken, like washing more often.

I don't think so. I have hyperhydrosis( excessive swetting under the arms). I use percription anti persiperant and an over-the-counter deodorant, and I still occasionally don't make it a whole day without a odor problem. Unless your really self concious I would worry.

Odor can indicate some medical problems, though I am really not sure of what you are asking.
