I bought ceramic hands from the Dollar Tree. They are sitting on my dresser and hold my rings and bracelets. I bought coat hooks and screwed into the wall to hold my necklaces. Earrings are in a clear upright jewelry box I bought on QVC.

I have a fairly large collection, so the standard jewelry boxes just weren't big enough. I finally just got some of those little plastic drawers that you get in the hardware department to keep small parts in. They take up less space than those big standing ones, keep me better organized, and were a heck of a lot cheaper (I have three and I spent a total of under $20).

You could try the old fashioned places. Put them in the flour pot. You could store them in a good box and bury it in the back yard. You could buy a fishing/tackle box or a mechanic's tool box. All of these are a very different style than the usual jewelry box. You could even put it in the silverware drawer. As long as you are happy with it and know where everything is, that is what matters. Personally, I don't wear jewelry. Occasionally I wear a wedding ring. I store it with my loose change. But you've got more than one piece to consider. Just try to enjoy it as well.

wow....thats funny, I just completely cleaned my room yesterday....but Jewerly is still something I have to deal with. A lot of people put it in drawels, but I don't want to buy more junk to seperate it with. I think you could hang earrings on a piece of tule or lace.

Try making a decorative board covered with fabric to tack onto the inside of a closet door. You can buy large pins to pin the jewelery to it. You can choose fabric to cover it with that fits your style then choose to display it on a wall or conceal it in a closet.

For earrings, attach some screen to a frame with a staple gun and you have someplace for all of your earrings. Shoeboxes that you can keep under the bed may help corral costume jewlery too.

I like the door hanging shelf. It has about 12 different rods and you can dangle all your loose necklaces and bracelets on them. Then it has a shelf for like earrings and stuff.
