I work in a automotive factory in Michigan. I ask for the tools to make my job smoother and they tell me they do not have the money. But they turn around and build their 6th plant. Also we did not get a rase again this year. What ever!!

the factory i work in cares about its people. my last job, on the other hand (walmart), does not. they say the avg pay for an employee is $10 an hour. i was there for 6 years (3 as a supervisor) and i never made anywhere near that much. the biggest company in the world pays less than mcdonalds.

99.99999% of employers do not, everyone is replaceable. Some employers will make it impossible for some long term workers because perhaps they are making to much money and a new employee can start doing the same work for less money and less or no benefits at all.
