Im sorry to ask such a stupid question, but anyone seen the Wicker Man with Nicholas Cage? I just rented it and watched it a few minutes ago. I watch everything with him in it, and with this one,id like to say WTF!? I was very disappointed and pissed off , what a dumb movie, .. anyone agree?

I figured it couldn't possibly be as good as the original, so I've made no attempt to see it. I've heard mixed reviews, but even the favourable ones say it's not as good as the original.

I watch everything with Nicholas Cage in it too. I thought this one sucked though

I had the same initial reaction as you after watching it last night. I think it mainly is due to the ending leaving us feeling that way. You have to look at it this way though; if a movie was able to bring out your emotion, wether it be love, laughter or anger, then they did their job.

I saw the original Halloween weekend. The original made me say "WTF"!?. I had no idea that it was a demented musical. I had no interest to see the remake .
